The Art & Design Gallery at Sacred Heart University, under the direction of the Department of Art & Design, is to make the gallery a “Center for Content” that reaches beyond the university to the general public and the greater community. The gallery seeks to contribute to the university’s growth by becoming a center for important and entertaining exhibits in the area of Graphic Design, Illustration, Studio Art, Digital Motion and Interactive Graphics, documentary work, and artwork from the surrounding communities. It is our goal that the university be a center at which people may exhibit and view quality presentations of Art and Design, and to be a content provider in these areas. In doing so, the Gallery and Sacred Heart University would become a venue providing a showcase for collaboration between local, regional, national, and international talent as well as the enormous talent pool within the university faculty and staff.
